Welcome to Julia de Burgos Elementary

We like to think of ourselves as the best kept secret. Julia de Burgos Elementary is a Kindergarten through eight grade elementary school with a focus on READING, WRITING, and Social Emotional Learning programming. Our school serves over 700 students that live in Philadelphia.

The mission of the Julia de Burgos Elementary School is to provide a high quality education that will exceed expectations while empowering scholars to become life-long learners and responsible citizens. We believe that all students are individuals that are capable of learning and achieving at advanced levels given the right tools and through hard work, dedication, and application.

We also believe in a strong partnership with the entire school community to include parents, students, as well as community partners. We are committed to our partnerships and family engagement.
